The shooting that killed 8 people on Thursday was done by a 19-year-old, who despite being investigated by the FBI for his potential for violence, purchased the two assault rifles, used in the shooting, legally. This is an another example of how easily obtainable dangerous weapons are in the U.S. and another mass shooting is the result. It does not seem right that someone who was recently investigated for being mentally unstable should be allowed to buy an assault rifle, but the laws of our nation allow that and another mass shooting is added to the list.
