Iran’s Nuclear Program: How Close Is Tehran to Developing Nuclear Weapons?

Since the breach of the 2015 nuclear deal, many raise fears that Iran is on its way to further develop nuclear weapons. The main argument Iran has for initially leaving the deal was because of the heavy economic sanctions the Trump administration imposed against them in 2018. Although no talks are scheduled now, many predict that future negotiations for nuclear compliance and non-proliferation will once again emerge. Some experts predict that Iran could have nuclear weapons within just 9 months as they picked up where they left off. Iran's stockpile and uranium enrichment limits being breached have forced pressure on Biden and the European partners in the deal to provide sanction relief as of now.
