The country of Jordan has officially imposed a ban on all media coverage of the royal family as of this past weekend. This was in response to Jordian police arresting 15 people, two of which being a high-status political leader and a member of the royal family. The former prince Hamzah Bin Al Hussein publically criticized the country's leadership in a video sent directly to the media. He was soon banned from public political activities. It is now speculated that he has been put under strict house arrest following the release of this video, claiming he had the intent to destablize Jordan. The prince claims this is a false accusation and is evidence of the government becoming corrupt over time. Social media has been set ablaze with debates on the matter, and each party has been encouraged to make amends.
