An oxygen tank at the Ibn Khatib hospital exploded causing a massive fire leaving 30 patients in intensive care and at least 23 dead. They were able to stop the fire after several hours however, the governor Mohammed Jaber wants to find the person responsible and issued an emergency investigation. While the human rights commission declared it a "a crime against patients exhausted by covid-19" Considering the overflowing amount of patients in the hospitals due to covid-19 and the rapid increase of covid cases and covid related deaths, the lack of hospital resources will produce a devastating outcome.
