Life Has Moved On, but Fans in Atlanta Mourn the All-Star Game

Major League Baseball has moved this years All-Star game out of Truist Park, home of the Atlanta Braves to Coors Field where the Colorado Rockies play. This is news worthy for our class because this move was Major League Baseball's response to Georgia's Governor, Brian Kemp, signing a law that restricts voting access in Georgia. This law is believed to suppress the voting of people of color. This is an important decision by MLB because the game brings along opportunities for local business. I find this interesting because this is an impactful decision by the MLB that shows that they condemn the suppression of people of color.
