Long standing conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia continues as both accuse the other of attacking civilians in the Nagorno-Karabakh region. The President of Azerbaijan states that Armenian military forces must leave their territory in order for there to be any hope of peace. Evidence then emerged that Syrian rebels are being recruited to fight as mercenaries between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Though this was not confirmed, and the President of Azerbaijan denies it, surrounding countries are calling for proof. Armenian president says Azerbaijan will pay steep prices for committing such a serious crime.
