Senate confirms Trump's Supreme Court nominee a week ahead of Election Day

Amy Coney Barrett was approved by the Supreme Court on Monday, with a vote of 52-48. This has a huge impact on the Supreme Court for generations to come, as now it is 6 Republican and 3 Democrat sitting in for life. Two Republicans agreed this was too close to the election so they voted the other way, although agreeing after election they would vote yes. Democrats are worried that with her being on now, there are health care acts that are in jeopardy with the Supreme Court being set up the way it is right now. Barrett has been answering questions during confirmation hearings but also avoiding many, saying she will be her own Justice while following somewhat like old Justice Scalia.
