Analysts are saying that if former VP Joe Biden wins the upcoming election it could mean increased tensions and raised sanctions in Russia. U.S and European relations would likely improve but due to mutual distrust and issues with Russia there would only be downsides should trump lose the election. Some of this distrust goes back to when Joe Biden was vp and pushed for sanctions against Russia in response to the 2014 Ukrainian crisis. A statement from both sides did however, say that there could possibly be progress in relations because of a new Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty.
