Fear sets in that Boris Johnson's Brexit government is ill equipped to handle a pandemic

Recently, there has been growing concern that Boris Johnson and his government are not capable of handling the Covid-19 pandemic effectively. After his bout with the virus earlier in the year, Johnson has taken a more serious approach to containing the pandemic. But, he has recently taken to more mixed messaging, arguing that restrictions may need to continue into 2021 while also saying there is a need to start-up the economy. Some attribute this to Johnson's bombastic governing style, while others say his commitment to Brexit has caused a lack of cooperation with the EU as well as a lack of focus on the issue.
