North Korea Unveils What Appears to Be New ICBM During Military Parade

North Korea held a nighttime military parade in Pyongyang on Saturday night where they showed off what could have been the largest intercontinental ballistic missile ever created. Whether or not the missile is fully functional and what the power of it could be is unknown, however this does create some cause for concern. As we know, North Korea shows its power through the military, and showing off an incredibly large missile is one way to prove what they are capable of. The article also states that an unnamed source said that the Trump administration is still pursuing diplomacy with Mr. Kim, but called North Korea and the continuing to prioritize its prohibited nuclear and ballistic missile program disappointing. Furthermore, analysts believe that this move was very political for Mr. Kim, since it is coming just months before the U.S. election and suggesting that North Korea's military is a threat to whoever wins.
