In effort to work on normalizing relations between Israel and other nations, Trump has agreed to take Sudan off the State Sponsors of Terrorism list, as soon as they pay $335 million to U.S. terror victims and families of these victims. This took a little bit as some congress saw issues with how this could affect the September 11 attacks. The White House has been pushing for Sudan to normalize with Israel, but that part plays separately with the agreement, even though it will be engaged in the second part of this compromise. When these ties are normalized, it can help Sudan’s economy with less trouble from the U.S. This plan can help further Sudan’s relations with multiple places, while clearing their name from the list.
